In 2021 and 2022, Jenny worked with the City of Boston to create Moving Through the Budget: A workshop series that incorporated collaborative storytelling, dance, and movement to prototype a reflective form of engagement on Boston’s budgeting process. Bridging government and community, this project - guided by an Asset Based Community Development approach - empowered over 100 residents in two neighborhoods with information, tools, and a pathway to amplify their voices about resource decisions that impact their everyday lives.
