On July 27th, join Jenny at Jacob’s Pillow for the Curriculum in Motion™ Institute cohort presentations. The Institute, “a dance-makers’ think tank”, is a ten-month training in a co-creative workshop/residency model applying choreographers’ methods to the curriculum, question, issue, or theme of a community partner.

Dance Courts: Throughout the summer, engage with DS4SI’s Dance Courts. Dance Court is an intervention aimed at spatial and aesthetic justice — a pop-up space that invites people to collectively imagine how vibrant new public infrastructures can improve the quality of our lives. This season, DS4SI will be centralizing Dance Courts in Upham’s Corner and prototyping infrastructure. Head to the Strand Theatre every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 3:00-7:00 pm from July 19th to October 12th.

Catch glimpses of Jenny’s choreography during HOOPS from July 12-August 10. Eliana Pipes brings 5,000 years of history to life with Hoops, a joyous celebration of Black, Latine, and Indigenous culture. This vibrant and playful choreopoem-esque collage of self-adornment and heritage shows off just how much power a pair of hoops can hold.
